Absorption – The Tena Classic Plus brief is for moderate to heavy incontinence needs. It is for either/both urinary and fecal incontinence. It also has a wetness indicator that will alert caregivers that the brief needs to be checked and/or changed.
Fit – The hook tab fastening system allows unlimited refastening to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. A snug fit is key to leakage prevention. The briefs have a soft nonwoven back sheet for improved comfort and dignity. This is quiet and more discrete as opposed to the rustling sounds from the old fashioned plastic-type backing. There are curved leg elastics that provide a better fit.
Odor Reduction – The superabsorbent microbeads at the core wicks fluid away from the skin and traps it into the core. This is natural odor control since the urine is not just sitting in the air. This neutralizing the odor by keeping it contained in the core.
Additional Products – Many people add the booster pads for more capacity during the night. Some also use an adult diaper cover-up for added protection.
Top 5 Questions Asked About the Prevail Extra Protective Underwear
- Why would I use a brief with tabs instead of a pull-up?
The brief with tab products make it easier to change from a soiled product to a clean product. The pull-ups are just like your normal underwear, to change into a clean product, you must remove clothing from the waist down. A brief (this product) allows you to slip the soiled product off and clean the product on without removing your clothing.
- What if this is not enough for overnight use?
Many of our customers simply add a booster pad into the briefs. This can add 8-16 ounce capacity to the brief. The booster pad will absorb its maximum amount and then allow any further fluid to flow through to the incontinence containment brief.
- How soon will I receive my product?
We normally ship the next day with delivery the following day. Some of the states can take a day longer. There may be a day or so delay if we need to pull the product from another warehouse if it's not at the closest one that day. So, usually, shipping is 2 days, but it can be 3. Occasionally, a product is back-ordered and as soon as we find this out we will contact you to find out what you want to do.
- How does shipping and tax work on iDiaper.com?
Shipping is 100% free for all orders in the Continental US states. With Alaska and Hawaii, shipping is always free for disposable products (not reusable). We don't charge any tax except in the states of California, Idaho, Florida, and Louisiana.
- Will this hold a full bladder loss?
A full bladder loss is 16 fluid ounces (2 cups) for most adults. This product is for moderate to heavy urinary incontinence (as well as optionally for bowel). This absorbency level is about 4-16 fluid ounces during the day, or up to a full bladder loss during the day. To get a product that has more absorbency and will do a much better job, though it is more expensive, try the Tranquility Premium Overnight Pull-Ons.
