What do I need to think about before making a purchase?

The first step is to take your measurements – the waist at the bellybutton and the hips at the widest point. This is a must for a proper fit. Each manufacturer (brand) uses a different sizing standard for their marketplace. A medium by one brand can be completely different from another brand.

If you are currently using a product – what would you like to have a little better? Would you like better: fit, comfort or capacity. Let's start with capacity as that is the most common problem. If you are experiencing leakage, either during the day or night, you probably need to move up to a higher capacity product, a product that holds more. One of the best in capacity is the Tranquility brand – it is available in both pull up or brief with tabs style. It has a large sizing range so there will be a product there to fit you. The Tranquility Premium Overnight Disposable Underwear is the most commonly bought.

If the product does not fit correctly, it is not going to perform to your expectations. If you are using a pull up and have very small thighs, it might be better to try a brief with tab style. These will allow you to get a snugger fit around the legs to prevent leakage. If you are getting skin irritation, perhaps you need to try a product with breathable sides. These sides allow an airflow that helps prevent skin rashes and irritation.

If you are not currently using a product – be honest with yourself as to your needs. Many people resist the need for an enclosed product like a pull up or brief. Finding a product can be complex procedure. You may not find it with your first try. Do not get discouraged. There is a product out there for you. Because the human body is not shaped the same for everyone, what works for one person might not work for another. Each brand tries to meet all people's needs, but sometimes it takes some thinking outside the box to find a product that will work for you.

If you are experiencing small leakage, then a pad would be a good choice. Make sure that the pad you are buying has a barrier lining if you are using with your normal underwear. This barrier lining will prevent leakage. Without this lining, once the pad is at full capacity it will leak out onto your clothing, etc. But if you are having control problems where you are not making it to the bathroom, a fully enclosed product like a pull up or brief is probably the best way to go. It is a big step to take for some to admit they need this kind of product. The industry has come a long way since the cotton diapers with safety pins. Some of these products look more like normal underwear if you are concerned about that aspect. They are slim, close fitting products without much bulk.

Mind set is the best way to handle incontinence. Yes, you have issues. Are you going to let them rule your life or are you going to take control back of your life and use products that are available to help you deal with those issues?

Once you have your measurements, sit down and ask yourself some questions – what problems am I having, do I need a better product than the store bought brand, do I have a good fit with the product I am using, do I need to go to the next step up in capacity (how much the product holds). Then go to the website and spend some time browsing around in the areas where you have needs. The individual product pages will answer most if not all of your questions.

What are your hours of operation?

Our hours are

Monday thru Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. MST

Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. MST

Where are your offices located? How do I contact you?

Our corporate office is in Caldwell, Idaho. We utilize over 17 different warehouses across the United States. Your product is shipped from the closest available stocking warehouse.

You may contact us by phone, 866-559-0353, or by email using the "contact us" section. If trying to contact us by phone and you do not receive an answer, please leave a message. Our customer service reps will answer your call as soon as possible.

How do I ask your nurse a question (an ask-a-nurse email)?

Go to the ask-a-nurse section, fill out the contact information, and give as much detail as possible in the question section. These details will allow the nurse to direct you to the correct products for your needs.

Can I get discreet shipping?

All of our packages come in a basic packaging of brown boxes with a shipping label. There are no advertising signs on the sides of the boxes. If ordering small items, they are normally repacked into plain brown boxes. Cases are sent with only the manufacturer's reorder number on the sides, no description. Reusables are sent via U.S. mail mostly using the U.S. type packaging boxes or envelopes. Nowhere are there notices "These are incontinence supplies". The shipping label will state the warehouse it came from, our name and return address along with your information. If someone is close enough to read the return label, they are too close. We do not advertise on the sides of any of our shipping boxes.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Your order will normally ship the next business day with a 1-3 day delivery. Your tracking information will be sent to you via your email address given on the order. There are times when we experience manufacturer's delays. If it is going to be a long-term problem, we will notify you and ask if we can substitute a suitable product.

Do you ship internationally? To Canada? To Hawaii?

When placing the order, if you are an international customer, there is a section to check for international orders. This will direct you to our International Checkout. They are a customs brokerage that will handle the payment and shipment of your product. There is an additional charge involved for the brokerage firm. For our Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii customers – they will be charged additional freight for their shipments. They will be advised prior to shipment what that charge will be. We try to utilize the most economical means available, usually the U.S. mail service.

Do you charge tax?

Certain states require we charge sales tax, i.e. Idaho, California, Florida

What are returns like? How do I make a smart purchase to avoid a return?

Returns need to be done within 30 days of purchase. There is a 15% restocking fee and a $9.99 freight fee involved. These charges are deducted from the return invoice before credit is issued back to the original credit card. You will need to call into customer service to set up a return authorization. In most cases, the customer service rep will arrange for a pickup and return to warehouse. Once inspected at the warehouse and returned to stock, credit less the return charges will be issued to your credit card. If we have your email, you will be notified.

Do you ever have backordered items?

We do experience the occasional manufacturer's backorder. This is completely out of our control. We try to find stock in our other warehouses when possible. We try every possible method to get the product to you in a timely manner. If the product is not due in for two weeks or more, we will contact you and see if there is a possible substitute item we can send. We do not substitute without permission from you.

How do I place a repeat order?

When placing your order, towards the end of the process, you will be asked if you would like this order to be set up as a repeat order and then, how often. Check yes and select the frequency (how often) you would like the product. If you are trying this product for the first time, try the product first. If the product works for you and you would like a repeat order set up, email us with the original order number, the quantity and frequency (how often you want it) needed. We will set it up for you. If you have been ordering the product and just want to set a repeat order, email us with an order number, the quantity and how often you want it. Or when placing your next order when you are asked if you want a repeat order, check "YES" and select the frequency required.

We will set up your order to come as often as you request. It will automatically be released per your frequency (time between shipments) request and charged to your credit card on file. We cannot do a repeat order on a Paypal charge. You must provide the credit card information for us to be able to charge the next order to.

How do I get an auto-shipment setup so the package just automatically comes to my door?

When placing your order, towards the end of the process, you will be prompted if you want this as a repeat or auto-reorder shipment. Simply check "YES" and select a frequency, which is how often you want it to come. Your next order will be released per your frequency request. You will receive an email notification if you have provided your email address. The product will be charged to the credit card we have on file and released to the warehouse for shipment.

With auto-reorder you do not need to call in; an order is automatically generated for you at the time you requested. If you need product sooner, simply email us with the request and we will make an early release. It's the same process if you do not need a product for some reason - send us an email. We can make changes to the order up until it is released to the warehouse.

For example, if you use a case of product a month and would like it automatically sent to you without having to create an order yourself. Simply sign up for the auto-reorder of the order. We will take care of the reordering on time for you to receive your product when you need it.

Is there a one-year price lock for auto-reorders like I've heard?

When you request the auto-reorder feature, that is the date we use for the price lock. You will not see a price increase for one year. If we see a price increase, you will not. Your price remains the same for one full year.

Your order is automatically renewed at the end of the year unless we hear from you to stop shipments. At the end of the year timeframe, your order will be reviewed for any pricing increase. Your price will remain the same unless we have received a price increase in that year. The new pricing (whether it be the old price due to no price increase, or a new price due to price increase) will remain the same for another year.

How fast does shipping come?

Your order will normally ship the next business day with a 1-3 day delivery. Your tracking information will be sent to you via your email address given on the order. There are times when we experience manufacturer's delays. If it is going to be a long-term problem, we will notify you and ask if we can substitute a suitable product.

What methods of shipping do you use?

Because we use different warehouses across the United States, there are four ways the product will come to you.

California residents may receive their packages from Golden State Delivery

Most of our warehouses use either UPS or Federal Express.

Most reusable products will be received via U.S. Mail.

Will I get a receipt?

If you have put your email address on your account, a copy of the order is automatically sent to you. When the order ships, a copy of the order with tracking information is also emailed to you. You can also request a printed copy of the invoice be sent to you. If we do not have your email or you have not requested a copy of the invoice, no you will not receive a receipt.

Will insurance pay for this?

Each health insurance policy is different. We suggest you talk with your insurance company about any coverage for incontinence supplies. If they say no, ask if they will cover the products if you have a prescription from your doctor. If they answer yes to either of the questions, we can provide you with a copy of the paid invoice for reimbursement from your insurance company. We do not deal with any insurance companies direct.

Do you accept Medicaid/Medicare?

We currently only accept Idaho Medicaid. We need all pertinent information and approval from Medicaid before we can set up a monthly order for them.

Most Medicare policies do not cover incontinence supplies. We suggest you talk with your insurance provider for Medicare about any coverage for incontinence supplies. If they say no, ask if they will cover the products if you have a prescription from your doctor. If they answer yes to either of the questions, we can provide you with a copy of the paid invoice for reimbursement from your insurance company.

FAQ ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

What types of products are there and how do I choose one?

We carry almost all of the products that are available for both urinary and fecal incontinence. This includes pads, briefs, underpads, mattress covers, wipes and ointments (just to mention a few).

In order to choose the correct product for your needs, you need to sit down and have a heart-to-heart discussion with yourself. Be honest about your needs. It is a difficult conversation to have, but in order to regain your lifestyle you have to confront your incontinence needs.

There are different levels of incontinence.

  1. Light is dribbling and occasional urine release.
    b. Moderate is large releases of urine but not a full bladder.
    c. Heavy is the release of a full bladder in the daytime.
    d. Overnight is the release of urine throughout the night.
    e. Fecal is loss of bowel control.

Each level has products developed with the particular amount of urine capacity in mind. Which level do you believe you need and what level do you actually need?

If you are experiencing light incontinence you probably would be able to use just a pad within your normal underwear. You must choose a pad with a barrier lining in it to prevent flow through onto your clothing. A popular product would be the Poise Extra pads. They come in a variety of lengths and absorbencies. There are some all in one products which are the underwear with a built in pad. These are a reusable product, they are machine washable and dryer friendly.

For the ladies they have a feminine appeal with lace and prints. For the men there is the fully enclosed Male Urine guard for those who do not feel comfortable with just a pad. There is also the Tena for Men with a cup-shape and wider frontal area for absorption.

Moderate incontinence levels
vary between pads within your normal underwear to either a pull up or a brief with tabs. At this level, most people choose the pull ups as they are closer to their normal underwear. Tena offers several different protection levels in the pull up style. If you prefer a brief with tabs, there are the Wings briefs. These offer a soft cotton like material with a great absorbency. The briefs are chosen over the pull ups mostly due to the adjustability of the legs and waist area. They can give you the snug fit that is necessary to prevent leakage. If you have a larger waist and smaller thighs a brief may be the way to go.

Heavy incontinence levels general require either the pull up or brief with tabs style. These products are designed to hold a larger capacity without leakage. The best brand in this capacity would be the Tranquility. They are available in both styles and depending on the style and size, can hold up to 3 cups of fluid. Some of their styles have breathable sides for better skin health, while others feature a slim-line with only slight padding at the hips. They are designed to be discreet under your clothing.

Overnight incontinence levels are generally the maximum capacity products for a good night's sleep. Once again, the Tranquility brand stands out as one of the best with both styles available and an added capacity of almost 32 fluid ounces.

Fecal incontinence has almost as many levels. For slight seepage, we have found that the Tena for Men pad works great. Simply reverse the pad, with the wider side at the back. Tena offers that only pull up for fecal incontinence that we carry. The briefs with tabs is more popular when it comes to fecal incontinence since they are easier to remove and contain the matter in the diaper. Tranquility offers the slimline and the SmartCore line. The Abena Abri-San Special pad is designed specifically for fecal incontinence with internal ribbing and pockets to contain the matter within the pad. It is contour shaped for comfort. And its capacity is tremendous with 67 ounces.

What do you mean by "Level of Incontinence" – light, moderate, heavy, or overnight?

  1. Light is dribbling and occasional urine release. This usually results in wet undergarments to the actual outer clothing by the end of the day. A good pad inside your normal underwear can be the answer for light incontinence.
  1. Moderate is large releases of urine but not a full bladder. A heavier capacity pad, changed more often can do the job. If that is not possible, perhaps a medium capacity brief with tabs or pull up would work better.
  1. Heavy is the release of a full bladder in the daytime. At this stage, you will need to make a choice between the pull ups or briefs with tabs. A pad generally is not going to have a high enough capacity to prevent leakage onto your clothing. The pull ups are more like your normal underwear but a little more difficult to put on if you are wearing slacks. The brief with tabs is easier to change when needed without getting completely undressed.
  1. Overnight is the release of urine throughout the night. We all would like to sleep through the night without having to wake up and go to the bathroom. If you are having to wake up several times a night to use the restroom, try the Tranquility brand that will hold over 34 fluid ounces, or the Abena brand that will hold over 100 fluid ounces. The overnight level product allows you a full nights rest without having to wake up to relieve yourself.
  1. Fecal is loss of bowel control Fecal incontinence can be as light as a slight seepage to complete loss of control. The Abena brand Abi-San Special pad is an excellent product for the complete loss of control. The Tena for Men pad, reversed, works well for seepage.

What products work the best?

For light incontinence– The Tena pads are a good choice. They feature gathers between the legs for a snug fit and less chance of leakage also the all-in-one type underwear are a good choice. They are much like your normal underwear with either a built in pad or a pouch to insert a pad. They are very discrete and comfortable.

For medium incontinence – The Tena pads are a good choice. They offer many absorbency selections from moderate to heavy. In a brief with tabs, the Wings Briefs are a good choice. They feature a soft outer backing, gathers between legs for a snug fit and leakage control, and refastenable tabs.

In the pull-ups style, there is the Prevail Per-Fit for men or for women. They are designed with the absorption where it is needed. Most people prefer the pull-ups, as they are closer to normal underwear.

For heavy incontinence– The Tranquility brand is one of the best products available. They come in either the pull up or brief with tabs style. With their super absorbent core, they hold up to 34 fluid ounces (depending on the size).

For overnight incontinence– Once again the best brand to use would be the Tranquility brand, either in the pull up or brief with tabs style. For bed-ridden patients, the Abena brief with tab style might be a good choice. They hold an extremely large amount but not good for someone moving around.

For fecal incontinence– The Tena pad for men (reversed) is good for light seepage. The Tena Discreet Underwear is the only pull up available. Most are the brief with tabs style. They are easier and cleaner to change. There is a Tranquility Slimline designed for fecal incontinence. Also the Abena Abri-San Special is great with ribbed interior and extra pockets to contain the fecal matter.

I leak at night, what product do you recommend?

If you are currently not using any type of incontinence product and are experiencing slight leakage at night, you can try adding a pad to your normal underwear. The pad needs to have a barrier lining if you are using with normal underwear. This barrier lining prevents the fluid from going onto your underwear.

The Poise pads would be a good choice. They have elastic type gathers in the center for a snug fit and adhesive strips to attach them to your undergarment. They also come in a few different sizes and capacities. Or you may want to try the reusable underwear with a built in pad. Wearever has several ladies underwear styles in a vast size selection. These products are machine washable and dryer friendly. And can be reused over again, thus saving you money in the long term.

For the men in reusables, there are briefs with pads by Sir Dignity or Salk. Disposable pads especially for men are also available. The Tena pads have a wider absorption area in the front with gathers in a cup style for between the legs. This product is also good, reversed, for fecal seepage.

If you are currently using an incontinence product, it is probably time to step up to the next level of protection for overnight usage. You can do these two ways. You can add a booster pad into your current product. These are different than the pads you put inside your normal underwear. The booster pad does not have a barrier liner. This will allow the booster pad to absorb as much as it can and then flow through onto the regular incontinence product. The booster pads can add up to 16 ounces of capacity to the regular product. Or you may want to change products for your overnight usage. You do not need to use the same product all the time. If during the daytime it works great, then stay with it for your daytime usage.

If at night it leaks, then it is time to get something with more capacity. The Tranquility brand products are excellent overnight products. They come in either pull up style or brief with tabs. Their capacity ranges from 20 fluid ounces up to 34 fluid ounces, depending on the waist size you need.

Will my adult diaper show through my clothing?

Yes and no. All of our products are designed to be as discrete as possible. But if you are wearing tight clothing there is a chance that you will be able to tell you have extra padding. A pad would be the way to go for that type of clothing. There is very little visible added padding to these, but make sure they have the capacity you require, or you make frequent changes.

The Tranquility brand has the Slim Line brief with tab that does not have any added padding on the sides by the hips for a slimmer look. There is a little less capacity on these, but they will still hold 10 to 20 fluid ounces depending on waist size. You may need to vary the type of products you use depending on the clothing style you are wearing. You do not need to stick in one style of product. You can vary the products to your needs. But definitely try the products at home before going out. You may need to change more often if using a lighter capacity product.

Why would I use a reusable?

Reusable products can save you money in the long term. Instead of throwing your disposable into the garbage, you are putting your reusables into the wash to be used over again. While the initial cost if higher, you recoup the cost as the months go by and you don't have to buy additional product. Usually by the 5-6 month timeframe you have recouped the initial cost and are now cost saving by not having to replace the product every month. Reusables are also eco-friendly. Disposable products take a long time to decompose, and our landfills are filling up. All of our reusable products are machine washable and dryer friendly. They last for 200-300 washings.

What is the best reusable product?

The best reusable product is the one that works for you! Just like in the disposable products, you need to find the right product for your needs. In the pads, the Dignity or Priva are excellent performing products. For moderate needs, the SuperFit is a good product and economical. For heavier needs, the Ultra is one of the nicest products with a soft terry cloth like interior. The Ibex brand is rated for overnight usage and very comfortable with its quilted interior.

What's the difference between a brief and a pull up?

A pull up style product is very similar to normal underwear. There are bands of elastic at the waist and legs to keep it in place. Majority of pull ups products have tear-away sides for easy removal. These are the first choice when transitioning into full incontinence products because they are so similar to regular underwear.

The brief style product is actually a brief with the sides open with tabs at the waist and legs, on either side, to enable you to adjust and fasten. These are excellent if you have smaller thighs and are experiencing leakage in the leg area. You can adjust these to fit your body form. The tabs make it easier to change the product especially with fecal incontinence.

What do you have in very large sizes?

In the pull up style, we have many brands that will go up to a 80 inch waist. The Tranquility brand pull up, with a capacity for 34 fluid ounces, both the daytime and overnight will fit up to an 80 inch waist.

In the brief with tabs style, we have many brands going up to a 90 inch waist. The Tranquility brand brief with tabs style will fit up to an 80 inch waist. The Tranquility Air-Plus Bariatric Brief will fit up to 106 inch waist.

In the reusables, the Ibex will fit up to a 68 inch waist.

What do you have for fecal incontinence?

With fecal incontinence, most people prefer the brief with tab style. They are easier to change without making a mess. The Tranquility brief with tabs feature the dual cuffs at the legs to prevent leakage. The Wings Choice Plus briefs are also nice with a soft cloth like backing.

The only pull up for fecal incontinence is the Tena Discreet Protective Underwear. They have a high capacity for containment.

An excellent pad for fecal incontinence is the Abri-San Special. The pad is ribbed and has pockets to contain the fecal matter. It can be worn in your normal underwear.

What do you have for youth and teens?

Most of the youth and teens prefer pull ups. There are the Goodnites for the older children who still experience "accidents" overnight. These are sized for the smaller children's body. The Tranquility comes in an x-small size, down to a 17-inch waist, with a capacity of 20 fluid ounces.

For those who prefer the briefs with tabs, Tranquility offers sizing down to a 17-inch waist in the overnight and slim-line style. The slim-line style offers the protection where it is needed with only a little padding on the sides for a more discrete look. The Wings Choice Plus offers a youth size down to a 20-inch waist. These have a soft cloth like exterior for very little noise when moving.

Many of the pads with adhesive strips can be used within normal underwear for those with only light leakage. Make sure to select a pad with a barrier liner in it. This will prevent any leakage onto the normal clothing.

What are swim diapers? What kind of swim diapers do you have?

Swim diapers were designed for fecal incontinence. While they may hold a little urine, they are for fecal incontinence.

New this year is the Tranquility disposable swim diaper. It is a pull up style that absorbs minimal amount of pool water while containing the fecal matter with its dual leg cuffs. It is available for waist sizes 22 inch up to 80 inch. This is a disposable product.

The Pool Pal Swimsters come in both adult and youth sizes. This is a reusable product designed to fit under your normal swimwear. The fecal matter is contained within the diaper by the elastic around the leg openings. They are available in three colors: hot pink, royal blue and white. The sizes range from a 17-inch waist in the youth up to a 44-inch waist in the adult.

The SoSecure brief has Velcro type closures on the sides for adjustability. This is a reusable product, machine washable and dryer friendly. It is designed to wear next to the skin, under your swimwear. With the Velcro fasteners, you will have the ability to adjust for a snug fit. There are waist sizes from 22 inch to 58 inch.

Are the cheaper diapers going to hold?

You can try them, but chances are if you need a heavy capacity product you are not going to find them locally. The light to moderate needs is generally what is carried in your local store. But the heavier capacity brands are generally not.

Unfortunately, in incontinence products, you get what you pay for. The cheaper brands generally have a problem staying together, clumping, and the fasteners not working. Along with a poor fit, which leads to leakage. Whatever brand you end up using, it is important to get the proper fit along with the capacity you need.

How much do I need to budget for adult diapers each month?

This will depend on the product you are using and how often you change it. Once you find the product that works for you, you can then figure out the budget. Find out how much each diaper is costing you (cost of a case of product divided by the number of products in the case). Multiply that by how many you are using per day. Then multiply that by the number of days (generally 30) in a month. That will tell you your monthly budget for your diapers. As we pay for the freight, you do not need to factor that into the cost.

How does sizing work?

Each brand has its own sizing standards. Their standards depend on the market they want to cover with the product. If they are trying to sell in the youth market, you may wear a size large in that product. Where, if they are trying to sell in the plus size market, you may be in a size small. Or even x-small. In order to find the correct size, measure your waist at the belly button and your hips at the widest point. Then use the sizing chart provided by the manufacturer to determine which size in that brand you will need. A medium in one brand is probably not the same as a medium in another brand. Do not get hung up on what size you normally wear. Go with what the manufacturer's chart says you would wear and you will get the right fit for their product.

My plus sized diaper isn't fitting right, what do I do?

Depending on the problem, here are some solutions:

Measure you waist at the belly button and you hips at the widest point. Then check the sizing chart for that product. You may be ordering the wrong size for your measurements.

If your thighs are small and you are wearing a plus size pull up, consider changing over to a brief with tabs. You can adjust the leg openings on a brief with tabs to get the snug but not tight fit needed to stop any leakage.

Besides pull ups and briefs with tabs, there are also the belted undergarments available. This may fit you body style a little better, especially if you have a small waist measurement and a larger hip measurement.

How do you change an adult diaper?

The pull up styles have "tear away" sides. You grip either side of the seams on the sides and give it a pull. The seam will give way. You can do only one side or both.

The brief with tabs styles can be changed either standing or laying down. Remove tabs on either side. This will release the front from the back and remove.

How many different styles should I try at once if I'm just starting out?

If you cannot decide between pull ups or briefs with tabs; try a package of each to help you make your decision. It may take more than one order for you to find the product best suited to your needs. Remember to always order the smallest unit of measure to avoid having to do a return.

Are there incontinence products for my dog?

Many people order our underpads to use for their dogs as "wee-wee" pads. These absorbent pads work well for this application. They come in different sizes with different capacities. They are also less expensive than the actual doggy pads sold in the stores. The Prevail High Performance Underpads, by the case, are around 30 cents per pad.

What if I have both fecal and urinary incontinence?

There are products designed to contain both fecal and urinary incontinence. They have extra absorbency in the strategic areas needed. All of the products listed in the fecal incontinence section will also contain urinary incontinence.

For containing both, it may be best to use a fully enclosed product (wider coverage area). The Tena for Men pad is great (when reversed) for light incontinence issues. Tena Discreet Protective Underwear is good for moderate incontinence, and they are pull-ups.

For heavier incontinence, the Tranquility brand Slimline or Smartcore are excellent products. The Smartcore could be used for overnight as it is designed for larger capacity and less changes.

What are reusable underpads?

Reusable underpads are much like our reusable diapers; they are machine washable and dryer friendly. These pads are designed to be reused over again. So instead of using a disposable underpad that you throw away, a reusable pad can be washed and reused. They are a cost saving device. The Haloshield Reusable Underpad even has odor control built into the pad. While a little more expensive in the beginning, they will be a cost saver in the long term.

How do I treat my incontinence on the go?

Many people gather their needed supplies and create a "to-go" bag. The Nurse's Bag is a perfect example. It is designed to hold all of the products you could possibly need and looks similar to a backpack only smaller with a cushioned shoulder strap. Make yourself a list of products you need to take and replace what you used when you return home. That way you are ready to go without fuss. Always consider the unexpected but don't over pack. You may only be out for a few hours, but may need an extra change of product during that timeframe. Or you may not need to change at all. With a "to-go" bag, you are always ready to go and enjoy yourself.

I have a problem with odor, what do I do?

We offer many products with built-in odor control. The Attends Shaped Pads offer odor control with their wicking system. Many of the Depends and Dignity products also offer built-in odor control within their absorbing center padding. The Tranquility brand "peach mat" core has built-in odor protection.

Also available are sprays like CarraFree Odor Eliminator. It is designed to neutralize the odor and it is available in scented or unscented. The odor eliminators are available in smaller sizes for your "to-go" bag, or larger sizes for at home use.

What additional supplies do you offer and recommend?

We carry underpads to protect furniture and upholstery. They are available in both disposable and reusable. Mattress pads are available for most bed sizes. They are reusable, which means they are machine washable and dryer friendly. They help protect your mattress from odors and stains.

Available are odor eliminators to neutralize any residual smells. Also there are wipes designed to help with skin health. Some contain aloe to help with the healing of rashes and irritations. Some have moisture barriers to prevent the rashes or irritation.

Gloves are available to protect you or care givers. There are a variety of sizes, both powder-free and powdered, latex-free and latex.

Why don't I just buy my products from the local store?

Some of the products we carry are available at your local store. But most are generally not available in local stores. They would be considered specialty products.

Also, the majority of people are uncomfortable going down to the local store with people there they know, to buy their incontinence supplies. That is something they would rather keep to themselves and not broadcast to the world that they use incontinence products. Also, it may be a long drive to the local store for product. We deliver to your doorstep, in brown boxes with no advertising, at no charge.

What do I do about bad leakage?

If you are experiencing leakage the first thing to check would be the fit. The products should fit snug to your body, but not tight. Take your waist measurement at the belly button and your hip measurement at the widest point. Check the product you are using to see if you are using the correct size. It may be time to go up or down a size. The product has to fit the form of your body in order to function (which is to stop leakage).

If you are in the correct size, it may be time to move up to the next level of protection. Your current brand may have a higher capacity product. The good news is that the fit should be similar to your existing product. Most of the brands offer different levels to help in this type of transition.

If you are in a high capacity product, you may want to add a booster pad to the product. The Dignity Stackables can add an additional 8 ounces to your product. They are designed to fit inside your current product, and you can use more than one, as they do not have a barrier lining. They will allow the fluids to flow thru to your incontinence product once they have reached their capacity.
