How often do I need to change my adult diaper?
The adult diaper should be changed every time you go to the bathroom in it. Although there is good technology to keep fluid away from the skin, some irritation can occur if the diaper is left on used. However, many people go through most or all of the night without changing their product. Changing right after use is for sure the best thing to do though.
Will my adult diaper show through my clothing?
If you want to keep your diaper very discrete choose a First Quality (Prevail) product. These products are made to be compact and hidden under clothing. Prevail products, like the Prevail Extra Protective Underwear for Moderate Incontinence are quality, absorbent products, they just are made so that they are not bulky.

FAQ: Whats the difference between a brief and a pullup?
A brief has tabs on the side and a pull-up goes on more like underwear. There are many more choices of briefs than pull-ups. Pull-ups, like the Tranquility Premium Disposable Underwear for Overnight Incontinence, are good for if you need to take the product down and up to go to the bathroom. Briefs have tabs and they have many uses. On is if the person is bedridden, where the briefs can be put on much like a childs diaper. There are also reusable briefs but not reusable pull-ups. An example of a reusable brief is the Super-Fitted Reusable Brief for Heavy incontinence.
Im a very large size, which product is for me?
There are several options for people that are very large sizes. One thing a person can do is to go to our Plus Size area on the menu and choose from the available sizes. Some products go up to and over 94. Prevail makes a bariatric brief that fits up to a 94" waist. They also make a stretch-fit adult diaper that goes up to 68" waist and fits many sizes of people that are plus sized.
Belted undergarments are another option for very large adult diaper users. These are an adult diaper that has padding in the front and back that is held together by a belt. Differently shaped people sometimes find what they want in a beltless undergarment.
What do you have for fecal incontinence?
We have a fecal incontinence section. Look for the menu item that says Fecal Incontinence Its important to note that if a product is not designed for fecal incontinence, it wont work very well for it.
An example of a good fecal incontinence adult diaper is the Tranquility Slimline Disposable Briefs for Heavy Incontinence. They hold a good amount of fluid and will catch the fecal material. Another good product is the Prevail IB Full-Mat Adult Briefs. Theres plenty of fecal incontinence briefs, but not much in the way of pull-ups or pads.
Do you have something to help me swim with incontinence issues?
We have two versions of swim diapers, the Pool Pal swim diaper that comes in Youth and Adult sizes, and the containment swim diaper that can be custom made to fit the persons body with waist, hip, leg, and crotch measurements. The crotch measurement is from the bellybutton through between the legs to the same level as the bellybutton in the back.
The swim diapers are made for fecal incontinence, not urinary incontinence (the same material that would absorb urine would also absorb pool water) but if the containment swim diaper fits perfectly it might hold a cup or so of urine. Test it out at home first to make sure.
Its important that the feces not be to much like fluid.
Swim diapers allow people with fecal incontinence to enjoy themselves in the pool and give people a wider range of activities to do with their family. Special needs children can use the youth size swim diaper, which is made for older children. These swim diapers are tested thoroughly and bring a lot of joy to peoples lives, letting them back in the pool.
