The first of its kind in healthcare - the new HaloShield underpad will help your facility control the unpleasant odors often associated with incontinent care products. So how does HaloShield Work?During normal laundering - the special HaloShield treatment grabs the chlorine molecules and anchors them to the soaker layer. Now fully charged - the HaloShield underpad is ready to attack the bacteria responsible for unpleasant odors. When the odor-causing bacteria come into contact with the HaloShield pad - they are killed by the natural antimicrobial properties of chlorine. Best of all - Haloshield is rechargeable technology. As illustrated in the diagram to the right - once the soiled Haloshield underpad is laundered with chlorine bleach - the underpad is once again fully charged for maximum odor control.
